Not a biggie. Mark knew that there were many shares available for the taking in PINR. Combine the availability of PINR shares with the total worthlessness of PINR shares and you have a cheap way to go public. In other words Mark was able to take control of PINR (essentially a shell) for less money than it would have cost to list on the pinks. Simple answer to a simple question. This whole thing is about money and clearly Mark knew the cheapest and hassle free way to achieve a goal of his, that is, excuse me, that was to take MTPP public.
