I disagree. Jerry Sanders had it right when he said "Get good Tech and products out the door and the customers will follow" or words to that effect.
Hector may think AMD controls its own destiny, but clearly the market still thinks otherwise.
Dr. Ruiz has been conservetive in his statments reletive to intel all along, for good reason IMHO. His time will come. As an AMD investior I would rather see Dr. Ruiz perform for the business, not cowtow to the market.
AMD has been executing in an extrodinary manner in the face of a competeter 7 time larger with more resources than god. And all intel can do is step all over itself with paper luanches and bum products.
Intel has not shown the ability to play on a LEVEL playfield, IMHO they are becoming a joke! They tell the mobo makers to use 4 phase power but use cheaper 2 phase themselves. I,v had the dubious distinction of having to deal with em, never again. They couldn,t play fair if there life depended on it!!!
