i'm sure some sellers saw < 1 log drop and reflexively sold, when in fact the results are a little difficult to interpret because it is only a 3 day study and steady state hasn't even been achieved. that said, I do think a case can be made that the results are somewhat lackluster. after all, valopicitabine did about .7 mean log drop at the 800 mg dose at day 3, so expectations for the second generation compound may be higher (granted the 800 dose probably would have had adequate efficacy were it not for the GI tox and need for dose reduction).
