Strong on defense is taking the war to the terrorists, as opposed to waiting around for them to attack us again. Strong on defense is voting on the right side of history over and over again, versus voting on the wrong side. Strong on defense is increasing our military spending and funding for intelligence. Strong on defense is working with our allies but, more importantly, preserving our dedication to the removal of threats, even if it means abandoning some "allies" (and yes, I use the term allies loosely here).

Can you please explain how Kerry is strong on defense?
