WESTMINSTER, Colo., July 20, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NexHorizon Communications, Inc. (Pink Sheets:NXHZ - News) today announced it has completed the installation of the Drake Digital Freedom System in its Chula Vista and National City, California cable markets. Over the next several months NexHorizon will beta test its upgraded digital network in various homes to ensure the reliability of the digitized network. The Drake Digital Freedom System will enable NexHorizon to expand its video offerings up to 250 digital channels, including 25 HD channels. During the beta test, NexHorizon will use Drake's HDDS24 digital set-top box, which provides customers with true high definition video and Dolby Digital audio for a state-of-the-art entertainment experience. The company plans to introduce a set top box with DVR capabilities in the next several months.
