However, we have already entered a dark period in the history of our country. Half the electorate appears willing to overlook the obvious lies, scandals, war profiteering, corruption , etc of this administration. They are willing to accept Bush's argument that the only priority for this nation is the "war on terror" because they have been frightened daily by these willful idiots.

Corruption is now OK as long as Bush promises to protect you from Bin Laden. Heck! It can even be glorious!
