Majority of physicians are not in bed with pharm companies as the media would have you believe. This is just one more piece of propaganda to divide patients and physicians so that they won't fight the system. Physicians may get an occasional lunch, but do you really think a physician would jeopardize a patient's care and risk a lawsuit over a free lunch(which is usually something like subway). Do not confuse the political physicians of the AMA with physicians practicing in your local community. The AMA has long since stopped being the true voice of physicians.
