You have not given any reasons for statement regarding Kerry.

You forget how good it was under Clinton.

Clinton had budget surpluses as well as booming economic times.
Greenspan is responsible in part for the bubble excesses not Clinton. Clinton did not cause the excesses in the stock market. Greenspan needlessly pumped up the money supply before the millenia (because he was worried) and then drained it far too quickly when no disruptions happened. By March of 2000 the stock market was headed for a big tumble two months later.

Contrast Clinton's supurb economic performance that with the Bush's malfeasance. We started off the administration of this greedy miscreant with an energy crisis in the western United States which was artificially created by energy trading firms like Enron. Firms that had contributed heavily to Bush's election. This energy crisis bankrupted many power companies and forced a number of Western States into bad financial situations.

Bush followed that opening scandal by putting national security vis a vis terrorist organizations at the bottom of the list with a "kiss ass" National Security Advisor with no military experience(Rice) and Justice Department head (ashcroft) who did not want to hear anymore about the terrorist organizations.
Follow that up with an eager to please CIA director (George Tenant) who told Bush and Cheney what they wanted to hear.
My God Rumsfeld and Cheney even cooked up thier own intelliegence group to by pass the CIA and FBI in order to cook the books on Iraq.

Even before the events of 911 the Bush administration was planning to push Saddam out of power and take over Iraq.
This is documented by Clark and some cabinet members. This was essentially the plan of PNAC and private group. 911 simply provided the excuse they needed to work their hidden agenda.

Bush is financing his optional wars off of the social security and medicare taxes. This hits the middle class the hardest since the rich have their own retirement money. Now Greenspan is saying that we are going to have to cut social security and medicare soon. No mention of this at all at the Republican National Convention. Bush's domestic policy is completely subservient to his foriegn policy of seeking world hegemony.

Pat Buchannan has said that the US is beginning to look like the Roman empire circa 380 AD. This was the beginning of the downfall of the Empire and it was coincident with a bankrupting the empire.

Bush is a "one trick pony" with an agenda. He has two more wars scheduled for his next term. Iran and North Korea are on the menu. Both of the countries either have or are close to having first generation nuclear weapons. In addition, India and Pakistan already have nuclear weapons and the required delivery systems. His actions are destabilizing the entire middle east as well as Pakistan, India , and Russia as well as its peripheral states. China and Japan are next.

To avoid this global destabilization the US needs to use its military resources with laser precision to destroy the confirmed threats to this country. The US needs to stop letting Israel set its foreign policy agenda. Israel is a nuclear city state and it actually has no strategeic value to the US. we should keep our commitment to Isreal but we should not let them dictate our foreign policy.
