DENVER (AP) -- Air Products and Chemicals Inc. spent $410,000 in the first quarter to lobby the federal government on energy and fuel issues, according to a recent disclosure report.

The Allentown, Pa.-based specialty gases company lobbied on carbon capture and hydrogen economy technologies, the implications of climate change legislation on manufacturing and energy legislation.

Air Products and Chemicals lobbied Congress and the Environmental Protection Agency in the January-March period, according to the report filed April 15 with House clerk's office.
