Dew, any clue why up 20% today? I know there is a CC on Monday…

NVS had its quarterly CC this morning, but there was no discussion germane to IDIX, so we can rule that out. The remaining possibilities are: a) A leak pertaining to a clinical program; b) A leak pertaining to a buyout; and c) Ordinary fluctuation for a small-cap biotech with a relatively small float.

I think c) is the most likely explanation (e.g. look at the recent price action of ACHN), but the other possibilities can’t be ruled out entirely.
