You all have a happy Labor Day weekend and just remember we did not have the right to strike in the U.S. until 1936 but corporations had the right to hire the Pinkerton Goon Squads.
How hated were the Pinkerton's? My mom would tell me the story during the coalminer WARs with the Pinkerton's in Pennsylvania there was event when 5 Pinkertons were trapped by a mob of angry women.
The women literally tore them apart--literally.
