The gov loaned GM money and provided the DIP financing. Now the Gov owns 60 of the new GM not the old GM. Bankruptcy claimant(s) will just have to get in line and plead their case.

IMO, trying to sue the BK Judge/trustee And sue the Gov would be insane ... and a waste of money - the old GM is gone forever!

but - I guess anyone can sue anything or anyone for any reason

In fact, I'm going down stairs and sue a ham & cheese sandwich
