There is a thread on SI and IHUB that is devoted to post grubbing.

Any of the "double zero" (triple zero, quadruple zero, etc) numbers.
Any "x of a kind" numbers.
Prime numbers.
any ending in 01 or 99
Any numbers in series (12345 or 6789 for example)

I'd like to see the following added
Any post number the equals PI rounded to that digit, ignoring the decimal place. (3142 or 31416 or 314159)

The best posts are four or five of one number, especially the "picket fence grubs", which are all ones, or "aces".

A lot of people consider the poker hand as a way to rate grubs. You obviously can't get a flush, but a full house and a straight are pretty good gubs. As are two pair. Some go after palindrome grubs, like this one:

What you suggest is possible.

You simply need to get the grub and post it on the grubbers thread for review. (if you want to)

The grubbers thread here on IHUB has been a little quiet. Maybe we can stir it up a little.
