So if I understand you correctly, Iraq was an easier target and therefore this was a war of convenience and not substance. I am sure our soldiers would love to hear that. Personally, I do not think we should have invaded anyone (at least until we had more facts). Afghanistan is another story and an invasion was a given; Taliban and organized terror training camps needed to be dealt with, a direct connection to 9/11. We could have secured Afghanistan and round up terrorists from that country while still having presence in the ME. I know you disagree with me, but I see no justifiable reason why our soldiers are in Iraq and giving their lives for what was suppose to be an imminent threat. There are imminent threats all around, unfortunately for our soldiers I do not believe Iraq was one of them. And all the while, terror groups recruit, regroup and those who are a direct threat get more bold with their WMD ambitions while we are bogged down in Iraq. Makes no sense to me...
