Your number sounds very reasonable to me (I don't know that Vertex longs would agree 
). My wild guess is they want it to sound better and get it closer to 200M+ by perhaps tagging along some shares either straight out or more likely on a delay/non approval.
I would think this is right up Royalty Pharma's avenue. Maybe they would even buy out their whole EU stake if VRTX really is hard out for cash.
