I read that the Israeli mole investigation has stepped up the Chalabi inquiry as well because both involved Feith and Iran. We can speculate all we want, but we'll never know the truth. The principal of government accountability has gone the way of traditional conservativism. Gone, and lost within the same timeframe. There have been a few "tragic" accidents, and untimely suicides surrounding the regime, all painted as unstable, troubled people, in hindsight. A targeted assassination of Chalabi would not be at all surprising. Anything to maintain regime control.
Any thoughts on the coming election? Diebold is an interesting, pro-Bush player. Anything is possible, but I doubt the regime is willing to relinquish control, at any cost. Four more years?
