I look at it as our allies abandoning us, not the other way around. ANd let's face it, we did have allies when we went into Iraq. I don't know why everyone wants to forget the sacrifices of other nations.

And also, let's not forget that, historically speaking, the U.S. has carried the bulk of the responsibility in supporting any U.N. operation with troops, just like the first Gulf War. Our allies are weak when coming to help.

Nonetheless, it's a simple, honest disagreement between us both. I think you're wrong, and think removing Saddam forcefully was the right thing to do, regardless of whether or not he had WMD's. Do I think the administration made some mistakes? Yes. Should someone be held accountable for the WMD intelligence failures? Most definitely. I'm smart enough to see this war was about more than WMD's, but the boneheads who decided to simplify this war into Iraq's WMD's should be held accountable.
