I have been trading EUR/USD and USD/CHF this week...if I open a long E/U I immediately short U/C or if I open a long USD/CHF I go short on E/U
Elliot wave is basically a theory but it has a lot of merit...anytime I see an uptrend start on 30 min or 1 hr chart I expect it to have 3 legs up and at least 2 bearish corrections.IOW it advances well then dips slightly..then advances again with another correction etc etc.
When trend is finished the price on correction will be a lot deeper to the downside and it should mirror the action of the uptrend waves but in reverse.Google Elliot Waves...there is a lot of info there but it gets into stuff thats not as simplistic as the trading action I described.Hope this helps.
