You do when it comes to the Kurds. Your culturally enlightened "Who the hell are the Kurds" statement would sure lead one to believe that.

Have you ever lived outside of the United States?

This all just seems to be an intellectual game to you. One post you talk as if you care for Afghani women. In another you seem to not give a rats ass wether the children of Kurdish women are allowed to speak in their native tongue in school. When confronted on your statement about the Kurds you resorted to:

I would have had a lot more respect for you if you had said "I was not thinking clearly, let me correct that statement" and then said what you really thought. I guess that is what you really thought since you defended it.

When I first started teaching English in regions with Ethnic conflicts I could never understand why the people had so much contempt for people that spout the kind of trash you say. I thought they should feel good that even if these kind of Americans could not understand what was going on they were at least trying. They maintained that they were not trying. They were pretending. They also did not believe they cared. Or at least only cared when it was easy. Now I finally get it.
