I do not believe my stance is that of fear and/or weakness, it is that of being smart and thinking things all the way through, calculated if you will. We certainly do not have to prove our prowess to anybody, it is well known throughout the world. We are the SuperPower, economically and militarily. And with that power comes the responsibility of using it wisely, not willy nilly. We use to be feared, but respected. Now we are just feared. Personally, I do not think being feared and disrespected is an enviable position to be in. I am afraid greed and the hunger for more power/control has led us astray. This was to be a war on terrorism, not one of convenience or revenge or oil.
