Forget that the world has a long, sad history of avoiding conflict until it's too late. As Rudi said last night, forget the fact that you want us to follow a world that accepted the Soviet Union and felt we'd just have to learn to live with them. This is also a world that let the terrorists from the '72 Olympics go free, out of fear of retaliation. This is a world that rewards leaders like Yasser Arafat with the Nobel Peace Prize out of fear.

At some point in time, you're gonna have to wake up and see that the world has been on the wrong side of situations like this time and time again, until it's too late and costs thousands, or even millions, of lives. We can't afford that anymore, so if the rest of the world isn't with us, perhaps it's a sign that we're finally doing something right for a change.
