Clearly Alcon agrees with you in that they decided the market was not large enough, but as a glaucoma patient, it's too bad because from what I understand, it had activity and possibly a different mechanism of action. So it might be additive to other glaucoma drops. And as someone whose IOP is borderline controlled by drops, another few points of lowered IOP would be nice. In general, the lower the IOP, the smaller the chance of future damage to the optic nerve.
