Whatever, this is still the first night of the convention, so we'll see what happens the next few nights. The RNC still has a chance to screw it up and turn it into a Kerry bashing festival. But based on the GOP's reluctance to play Kerry's games and return his bashing with counterattacks or defensive maneuvering, I would imagine they will remain upbeat and focused on the future.
I'm just saying there seemed to be a lot of hatred at the DNC, but I haven't seen that yet at the RNC. They can obviously change that in the next three nights so we'll see..
