That's a GREAT start with Explorers, then go to get EMT get on ambulance, then go to fire careers . com and start taking tests everywhere you can .


Tell him, to stay in Great shape, do plenty of ride a longs, go from explorers to local college and go through all core fire classes, then go through college fire academy and take all the tests he can.

Also, tell him no to DUI's and Drugs, and no felony convictions.

My Captain is a background investigator, and these are the disqualifying things.

Also, choose friends carefully, and if he has a twitter, myspace, facebook etc use it wisely etc.

Good for him, Explorers is a rewarding program and lots of fun.

He will do well, keep the fire going under him, its a GREAT Career, and lots of fun!
