Your opinion is correct...what needs to be illuminated is just exactly how "involved" Megas was with his "buddies".

Once that is public, the reason as to why Megas has never done anything properly and has had to "circumvent" will become clear and obvious.

I think the "free shares for loyalty" program is in full swing right now with all this "secret" third person activity...disclaimers and all.
