I think it's pretty obvious.

Can we all agree on the following?

1. Enzymes are made by the human body and other animals (liver and pancreas, I think) for use in digestion amongst other important bodily functions. Reference Wikipedia or any other of the multiple sites covering enzymes if you would like to read further.

2. Enzymes are produced during the fermentation process, which includes beer and wine production. Typically, yeast and/or bacteria is used in these processes.

3. The most common way to mass produce enzymes is by fermentation. Yes, there are some methods to synthesize them but fermentation is by far the most common and least expensive method.

4. Mr. White has PR'd - "Because our products are not ferment based, and hence free from all the instability, incompatibilities, and inconsistencies inherent in those types of products, we can use all natural, DfE compliant ingredients to bring a larger line to market in a more readily EPA certifiable way. And as government approval becomes more important in the 'green industries', we feel we will be better positioned than most to meet these criteria."

If we all agree that the above is true, then we must agree the following is also true.

Unless Mr. White has figured out a way to harvest liver and pancreas secretions and get them DfE approved (http://www.cleangredients.org) he will NOT be using enzymes in his cleaning products.
