Once you start delving into generalities, the argument becomes quite weak.

In the past 50 years, I can name dozens of innovations in electronics and disease treatment. These are all regulated industries.

Can you name 1 innovation by the health insurance industry for every 10 innovations in treatment by drug companies?

Well, I have excellent health benefits and I'm quite sure that 2 of the items on your list are not reimbursable under my plan. Hyperbole, like generalities, weakens the argument.

It's clear from the language you're using that you have not followed the discussions on this topic. I would really urge additional reading before letting the ideological outrage fly.
