Because people will hound the retailer with calls and emails to see if the products are in the stores. This has happened in the past (and continues to happen) and the retailers do not appreciate it so SPNG waits until the product is in the store or that store allows them to PR it (in the case of contracts etc). Just look at what has gone on with Walmart and investors. It is a smart thing to do. They just wanted to let us know that they are getting into Canada in a big way (most likely in Toronto since they have a sign with the Jays and Metter stated at the Noble Conf. that if there is a sign they will be in that market area).
