Old news, the problem of course is SiC wafers cost 20 to 100 times (depending on quality) the cost cost of Si wafers and not available for a long time in 200 mm (not to speak of the new 300 mm) standard in SI, diameter, and as far as I know, SiC wafers still have very large defects (dislocations) concentrations, good for LED's etc but not good for .13 micron processes. And as I was typing, decided to take the risk of the CC on CYBX in here at $19.93, even though, I am not in tomorrow morning, hopping those guys, as usual, play a good hype enough for it to ramp and hold till I come back around noon.
