Anyone making investment decisions on "may,whatifs & could be" don't know jack.

I would submit that exactly the opposite is true. Investment decisions can rarely be predicated based on matters of certainty, and gauging the probabilities of various outcomes is the main skill that separates the successful investors from the also-rans.
