Of course when "buying" in general burns investors for a couple of years, it might be meaningless whether it's motivated by rumor or news.
Personally, I like the adage "Buy (or sell) the results".
Don't worry, I've still got my fingers crossed hoping for those positive financials. I hate it when irrational exuberance causes problems.
