Thanks to all who replied, the info is appreciated and welcome, good or bad. Don't need anyone holding my hand on this journey and certainly wouldn't blame anyone for MY investment decisions. Bought the vast majority of WMI stock before I found this board and I agree wholeheartedly, NEVER buy stock on another's opinion. Do your DD, which I feel I have. It is comforting, however, to know there are a few on this roller coaster with the same concerns as myself. The aspect of commons being canceled never came to my attention (yes, a chink in my DD, never said it was perfect). So to sum it all up..........
