I'm suggesting actions speak much louder than words.
Call me crazy, but if I saw a stock that was at 15 cents that I was certain was going up, it was only a question of how high, I would keep buying.
But of course, I wouldn't also talk it up on anonymous message boards, I'd get everyone I knew in on the ground floor and quietly wait for the inevitable. But that's just me.
For stocks that average less than $20k/day in trades and sell for under a quarter a share, yeah, I'd say mostly traded by retail individuals and that many of those who hold large positions post on one or more message boards. Just a guess.
