selling some on an uptrend like these past days is never a bad idea,
it doesn't mean you don't believe in the company, as some here seem to almost say.
there is no gold medal or an award to be won from never selling a single share.
i believe in this company, and that it could reach 1$
but there are many reasons to sell some in shorter term :
1) some extra cash is always nice
2) after such a run up, i prefer to get some cash to buy something nice for myself, lol, instead of looking at a virtual profit, which - as today showed - can be wiped out in a few minutes
3) to effectively convert your existing shares into "free" shares, and make it less stressful to watch this game
4) in case it would ever go down hard, like today, you have the possibility to increase your position big time again
and if you can never buy back those shares you sold, because price keeps going up and up, well, then that's not so bad either, because your existing shares go up also, and the money you won, you got in the pocket :)
hardly do you see a share going up in a straight line from pennies to a dollar, you can dream of that, but it just doesn't happen. experience of years has shown this the hard way
