I am also trying to filter out overall market crashes. I am sure many people run into this. I like to test all my formulas on September 2008 - November 2008 since October 2008 had a good size crash.

What are some of the methods you can use to prevent any buys (entry formula) or trigger sells (exit formula) during a crash period.
