volgoat: One of my other small biotechs...AVII....recently had a nice run up. Later there were SEC filings from an offshore hedge fund and a US Hedge fund. The huge uptick in share volumes with PPHM could be a similar scenario. Keep an eye out for any SEC filings on PPHM. I've been reading this board at least 3 years now, and there have always been accusations of manipulation, etc. I don't know if it's true or not true. But if there has been manipulation to keep the share price down what's to prevent the manipulators from doing their thing to run the price up? If I wanted to manipulate the stock, like Realist suggests, wouldn't it be more profitable to run it up than to run it down from current prices?
