Yes the Doctors are involved but the pharmaceutical companies run the trials. I'm pretty sure about this because my job is to find these people for the pharmaceutical companiea that are involved with clinical trials. Do you really think pharma companies spend billions of dollars and just hand everything over to a doctor and say let me know how this works out? They are involved every step of the way. Some of the bigger companies have site monitors that watch over each individual site. So trust me Genta did the same especially when they had money and from what I'm hearing from Vice Presidents of Medical Affairs and Medical Directors from Pharma companies is that Genta didnt follow the rules and cut corners. It's not there Genasense doesnt work, its that the FDA wants things done a certain way and Genta didnt follow the rules. I'm just hoping the learned their lesson.
