They are 2 different creatures, and if one trades on the former without accounting for the latter, more times than not they become a longer term-holder than they had intended.
These fundamentals will not support too great an increase in price and momentum cannot be generated indefinitely. So 2 things normally occur-- the momentum is killed by dilution or float bloating and/or interest wanes given the fundamentals cannot shape up as fast as the momentum vision suggests.
As you said though, we'll see how it plays out. GLTU
