I think they are looking to spend their cash on the people that can do them the most good. They are looking to get a lot of like-minded people together so they can get a lot of ooohhs and ahhhhhs from the crowd. Shareholders would probably not be refused entry, but I would be willing to bet that they would prefer to keep the guest list limited to potential customers or IT security magazine reporters. Anyone that can further the cause.

But that is just my humble opinion.
