It has something to do w/Plant. He doesn't want to "recreate" led zep and wanted his project w/pagey to stand on their own. Remember the Coverdale/Page album? That was just before Page/Plant got back together. Page did the album because he knew that it piss plant off (Plant hates David "Copydale" Coverdale apparently). It worked.

Plant knew bonzo from their childhood and i don't think he ever or will ever get over bonzo's death.

He has been touring the last few years in Europe and his new album due out next month is a compilation of the songs he sang live.

I remember the first 2 page/plant shows. The first one was at the old Boston Garden and the audience was nuts, but Plant's voice wasn't completely back. The second one was at the new Garden and the audience was STUNNED at Plant's voice. He was showing it off all night. He got to the end of Whole Lot of Love and at the end let it rip (the whole band including Page went into the background, Plant stepped up to the front of the stage, the spotlight hit Plant and he tilted his head back and let it go....UNBELIEVABLE...1969 ALL OVER AGAIN..EXACTLY!!!!)
