I'm not familiar with any rumors but, I do know as QB's go he was good. A lot of people get rubbed sideways by Terry Bradshaw (myself included sometimes) but, he was a winner. The more pressure on him the better he played. But, to get a Super Bowl ring it takes a complete team. Elway finally had a good team alongside him when he got his two rings. You could put any of the Great QB's on any of the Super Bowl Champions and they would have won. By the same token some teams have had more talent than any other team in the league and never could win it all. The Buffalo Bills were an example. There is such a fine line between the 'have's' and the 'have-not's'! You need talent, team chemistry and most important of all...The Will To Win At ALL Costs!
