Good Grief Bear! I thought I was the only one up at this hour. LOL..

I have to agree with you on the old & new school way of marketing. The article was indeed interesting and gives us examples & supports to have Exobox proceed on this. I'm typically used to having content on their own domain, just like you mentioned.

However, utilizing all channels possible may not be a bad idea after all. To be honest with you, I have about a total of 8 IT following me on Twitter, 1 of which has over 60 IT following him. It's a chain reaction at that point, once the majority of us start reviewing & hearing testimonies, and start blogging about it. The message is definately echoed out there to both "trusting & trusted" IT folks. From what I found out, a good majority of us IT are on Facebook and/or Twitter. We're simply contributing ideas & sharing information, but most importantly networking with each other. Over 2 million users on FaceBook? Not Bad to send & echo that message out there. I certainly agree that Web 2.0 is not a "channel" but rather an "engine"
