I just checked their website it is designed with an artery with soft plaque. It is made out of Nitinol and the most interesting feature to me (the only thing that makes it different then any other Nitinol stent) is the stent can be "broken" or disconnected with a balloon to accommodate a side branch. The connectors are placed all along the length and the circumference of the stent. I just have to find out how the connections hold together in a self expanding stent.
