It's because I didn't understand what I was doing. I know how to make it work now and I've executed a 100% test since then.

Live strategies just aren't that important to me... I'd rather look at charts and data. My personal preference is to set alerts based on my own chart annotations.... support, resistance, patterns and trendlines. That's enough automation for me.
