I usually have no problems with Yahoo financial numbers, they copy these from what the companies file with them. Could there be special reasons they show earning per share but "gross losses" on the last few quarters. Look at the balance sheet, there is no growth in net tangible book (around $23 MM in the last few quarters, down from some $55 MM two years ago. If in the last four quarters they indeed made close to $4/share, the tangible book value should have grown by about $32 MM, no sign of that on their balance sheet. I don't have the time for a detailed study of their 10Q and 10K, but since you have these documents, maybe you can find where is the discrepancy arising from.
