o/t- well, let me just comment on that touchy topic and im not afraid to say my piece here,,,,,

in northern va, the products i get now are 1/2 spanish and 1/2 english and i hate that. im truly not prejudiced but i hate to be forced to see one paragraph in spanish, then engl, then span, then engl.

and most of the calls we get on 911 that NEED a translater are spanish speaking. why? the koreans, and the middle east, etc, all know engl. its very very rare that i need the "language" line for them.

but we coddle to them by making everything in spanish, so, why learn english? so, its really our fault (the politicians that is)

i ate at a chinese food place today, there was me and one other english speaking table nearby, and the rest were speaking spanish and very loudly.
