However, my point is, as a respected leader of business, it is "unacceptable" to over-promise and under-deliver.

So this Friday is an opportunity to thumb the collective company nose at the pinks and make the statement. Or it is the opportunity to say "pink business as usual."

I am hoping for the previous.
