I'll chime in here and say IMO, taking this private is not in the cards. MD has told me directly how much he values loyality and it seems disloyal to me that he would allow shareholders to get only partial value for their shares.

I believe the reason they have not been overly vocal about things are as follows:

1) Finally listened to shareholders who told them to under promise and over deliver,

2) As they get closer to launch time, they didn't want to do anything that would get them in trouble with the SEC or any other gov entity,

3) MD believes strongly that his stock has been beaten down by naked shorts and wants to catch them with their pants down,

4) Company is not overly worried about cash right now and feels that if the share price remains low, they will use cash flows from operations and/or LT financing to buy back shares.

In the end, MD wants to reward all loyal shareholders.

Just my opinion.
