That's interesting. I've run into some symbols that just won't display charts in certain timeframes, but it's not a problem that I see recurring a whole bunch. And sometimes my data for a particular symbol will be screwed up all day long... like my level 1 will display a 700%+ gap (just an example) when it wasn't even close to that.

The biggest issue I have regarding lack of data is that some indicators just won't display... like the MACD histogram on the monthly chart. It's like there's not enough data there to calculate it, but the stock has been trading plenty long enough.

What you're seeing sounds like a legit bug in SD, however, and I'd pester them about it if you can get some concrete examples of it. Sometimes email is the best approach for that type of issue, cause there's a better audit trail, iykwim.
