James T. Rodier was the founder of Freedom Energy, a pioneering electricity marketer based in New England, in 1997.Mr. Rodier is currently serving as General Counsel for Freedom Energy.He is a nationally recognized speaker on energy deregulation, having made presentations to the management of three of the five largest electric utilities in the country, as well as at numerous national conferences and seminars.

James Rodier, founder of Freedom Energy, a competitive energy broker with a handful of industrial customers in New Hampshire, thinks companies could someday advertise nationally.

"It's not a mass market at this point, but there's going to be a way to make a mass market for it," he said.

Rodier thinks the state should make PSNH sell its plants and wean its customers from standard suppliers, so that companies that survive the first tumultuous years in the market can grow.
